The
LCD
"Black Watch"
was one of the first mass
produced electronic wrist
watch. Batteries life was
short and lasted just a few weeks.
The time was
displayed for a few
seconds after pressing the
buttons on the front of
the watch. The watch
(which was made in
plastic) was launched in the
UK in kit form for £17.95
or £24.95 assembled. |

minutes' the other 'minutes and
seconds'.
